About Me.

I’m Joanna Munster, a botanical and wildlife artist creating detailed artwork inspired by the natural world. Working in watercolor, colored pencil, pastel pencil, and gouache, I focus on the quiet beauty of flowers, birds, leaves, and the small natural details that often go unnoticed.

My work is created slowly and carefully by hand, with attention to structure, color, texture, and realism. Each piece begins with observation and becomes either an original artwork or a fine art print for collectors who love nature, detail, and timeless art.

I recently completed formal botanical art studies with distinction, deepening my focus on accuracy, composition, and traditional botanical painting techniques. That training continues to shape the way I approach each subject — with patience, curiosity, and respect for the natural form.

My hope is that each piece brings a little of the outdoors inside: a quiet moment, a remembered walk, a favorite flower, or the presence of a bird paused just long enough to be noticed.
