Prices are starting points for one subject with a simple background. Multiple subjects, complex settings, and unusually detailed compositions will receive an individual quote. Framing and shipping are priced separately.
How Your Commission Comes to Life
YOUR IDEA
Tell me about the bird, botanical, landscape, or meaningful subject you would like me to create. You may include reference photographs, preferred size, and the story behind the piece.
PROPOSAL & DEPOSIT
I will review your references and confirm the composition, medium, final price, and estimated timeline. A 50% nonrefundable deposit reserves your commission.
CREATION
After you approve the composition, I begin creating your artwork slowly and carefully in my studio. Because every piece is made by hand, completion time varies with size and complexity.
COMPLETION
You will receive a photograph of the finished artwork. The remaining balance and any shipping charges are due before your original piece is carefully packaged and sent to you.

• Starting prices include one subject with a simple background. Additional subjects and complex settings require a custom quote.
• A 50% nonrefundable deposit reserves your commission. The remaining balance is due before shipping.
• You will approve the proposed composition before the final artwork begins. Significant changes requested afterward may require an additional fee.
• Reference photographs must be your own or used with the photographer’s permission.
• Framing and shipping are not included in the listed starting prices.
• Joanna Munster retains copyright and reproduction rights to the artwork. Purchasing the original gives the collector ownership of the physical piece for personal display.
